today i learned how to use html! i didnt get it at first but gradually, with the help of my parents, i finally understood and did it. i thought it was a little unfair that i did not have a partner at first but i realised i could do it by myself just fine. i learned how to create html and its uses and made my own personal website. i was very excited and estatic when i first understoood. i have to open and close the tags and add words inside. i learnt how to bold, underline and paragrah and so one, well that is all.

today, i will talk about the interaction of human and computer. i think the human and computer interaction has improved dramatically over the past few years, computers have become smarter and smarter. computers are already part of everyone's life, and everyone rely's on it for information, advertisments, etc. the new media technologies can be good and bad, if it is fast but not very fast and accurate as it always is a secondary source. therfore me must be both careful and use the new media techonologies better, that is all.

this is my first IS blog. it is about the lesson and the things i learnt in week 1, mainly web 2.0. in web 2.0 the webmaster of the website will be able to get help from other people to update and change his website, where people can also gather and interact. it is mainly about connectivity with other people such as your friends and even your friends' friends. well that is all a brief overview of web 2.0 and how it has evolved.

IS project

i think the evolution of human-computer interaction(HCI) is good and bad at the same time.
the reasons it is good: with the help of the computers, life will be much easier to interact, find information and even to have fun. communicantion with anyone through computers will be sent in a matter of seconds no matter where the receiver or the sender is.
for information, a press of a button on wikipedia or google will get you hundreds of hits to find the information.
for fun and relaxation, there are all kinds of technologies to allow you to play for free.
As for the disavantages, to extreme use of computers will lead us to use or own brain less and become less smart
People may become so rely on the computers so much that when the technology is no longer used, they will be unable to do anything.
information on the internet is also not definitely reliable, as the computers can be hacked.
the internet may also possess 'bad' information that might affect us physically and mentally. therefore the internet and computer is both good and bad and i am still not sure which is it for the better or for the worse. :)
